Market Your Book For The Holiday Season – In The Summer!




How can authors sell a lot of books during the holiday season?

2.       Be aware of key dates, such as:

-Black Friday
-Cyber Monday
-Christmas Eve

3.      Write and schedule holiday-themed blog posts, Tweets, and Facebook posts.

4.      Create holiday-themed social media header graphics.

5.      Post images of your books in holiday settings on Instagram.

6.      Create a Pinterest board for book-centric, gift-buying ideas.

7.      Do your own 12 days of Christmas giveaways?

8.      Pitch magazines, newspapers, and bloggers in August for holiday gift-guide inclusion.

9.      Pitch bloggers for holiday and New Year’s resolution topics connected to your book.

10.  Release a boxed set of your books or bundle a bunch of them together.

11.  Make the first book in your series free.

12.  Contact your local libraries and independent bookstores to set up events or book signings.

13.  Get involved in local festivities – holiday markets, craft fairs, showcases.

14.  Donate books to local fund-raisers or a charity in a holiday drive.
