This Book Nails Kitchen & Bathroom Renovations

Are you thinking of remodeling your kitchen or upgrading your bathroom, but wondering if you can make it through contractor hell, cost overruns, and inconveniences?  You will feel like you are being held by the hand of a trusted source when you read Mike Homes’ Kitchens and Bathrooms: Expert Ideas and Great Advice (Time Home Entertainment).

You instantly feel at ease when reading this: “I’m going to take you through the stages of the renovation process, letting you in on some of what I’ve learned in nearly 30 years in this business.”

The author looks a little like Mr. Clean or the Michelin Man, but he’s a star in his own right.  He headlines the TV Shows Holms Inspection and Holmes on Homes.  He has written several other books.

He notes the average kitchen renovation runs $30,000 and a new bathroom is $10,000.  No one can afford to make a mistake for those price tags.  The book takes us, with photos, diagrams, tips, and advice, behind the walls.  He guides us every step of the way on how to hire and work with a contractor to get your home done right – on time, going green, and on budget.
