Authors Have The Power!

Most authors have strong convictions and beliefs, both about their writings and their views of the world. Many, however, feel powerless to get their message out.  As a result, some truly great books will get buried in the avalanche of the millions of books listed for sale — unless authors rise up and advocate for their gems.

Dear writer, you are in control of your fate, despite your feelings expressing otherwise.

You have the power to:

* Apply for book awards

* Seek speaking engagements

* Be active on social media

* Hire a publicist

* Learn how to market your book

* Lobby for news media appearances

* Advertise your book

* Network with targeted groups

* Ask friends for favors

* Be creative, show initiative, and be persistent

Think differently.

Act differently.

Get different results.

You have the power.
