Interview With Author Robert Bach

1.      What inspired you to write this book? It was more a sequence of events than an inspiration. There was a time in my life when I was obsessed with the study of anthropology. Modern religion, ancient religion, and the old schools of philosophy. All this came together as a story in my mind.  I told my wife about it and she suggested that I write it out. From that, came The Arbitrator.

2.      What exactly is it about and who did you write it for? The Arbitrator is the story of a man's search for truth and he finds it in a world Beyond imagination.  One could say it's an adventure story but what it really is an allegory dealing with philosophy, religion and politics.  It is meant to introduce the reader to new ideas of God, life and reality.  I believe anyone can get something out of the reading of this book.

3.      What do you hope readers will get out of reading your book?  If I knocked you on your ass and made you think then that's what I wanted to do with the book.

4.      How did you decide on your book's title and cover design? The eagle on the front cover is very important. It represents the moment the main character starts his journey to become the arbitrator of the High Council of God.

5.      What advice or words of wisdom do you have for fellow readers other than run?  There really isn't much I can say about that.  I'm new to the market and just learning,

6.      What trends in the book world do you see and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading? I really didn't pay attention to the book marketing industry because I was too busy writing.

7.      Were there experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this book? Yes. I learned a lot about people and their beliefs during my travels. These ideas and concepts are layered through the book.

8.      How would you describe which writers or books is your writing similar to? That is hard to answer. You have to understand that The Arbitrator is a work all to its own.  I've never read anything like it in my life. It is unique all to itself.

9.      What challenges did you overcome in the writing of this book? There where many I've never written a book before.  I didn't even know I could write.  I became handicapped and the only thing I could do was write.  Let's hope something comes out of it.

10.  If people can buy or read one book this week or month, why should it be yours? I'm going to answer that in a very unusual way with a warning. caution: dangerous read this book at your own peril. It can change your life.
