Curious About Speech-To-Text Devices
I see my son talking to his Nexus and then his mini tablet spits out the typed version, more or less, of what he just uttered. How reliable are these devices and could one dictate whole books using such technology? A recent NY Times article noted something called Dragon Dictation, a simple speech-to-text app, is free and “probably the best known.” The paper of record also noted Paperport Notes, “a more sophisticated notes management app that can also handle embedded photos and hand-scribbled notes.”

That number grew by more than 35% in just four years, to 9.2 million households. If your book appeals to the wealthy, your customer base just exploded with growth.
