Have you plunked down $60 to get a God Bless the USA Bible, the latest stay-out-of-jail-fundraising scheme by former President Donald Trump?
I thought I had seen a lot of weird things in the book world, but this takes the prize. Does he think he is God?
Let me get this right: A guy who has no true faith-based convictions, a man who repeatedly violates many of the Ten Commandments, someone who is never seen in church, a fraud who fails to quote any biblical passages, and a scrooge whose taxes reveal a tiny amount of charity thinks he needs to splash his brand of approval for a holy book?
Who actually buys into this?
What happened to the separation of church and state? The Bible knows no geographic boundaries. Is Trump looking to nationalize a religion?
This disgraced, two-time impeached, thrice-married, multi-bankrupted, morally-corrupted, election-denying, ego-whoring piece of malevolent crap should be in jail and not smuggly hawking this.
Fresh off of a series of court losses that could cost him nearly a half-billion dollars, he launched a multi-billion-dollar IPO for Truth Social, a little-used social media platform that lacks truth and, given its user numbers, is not very social. He goes from one thing to another, looking to capitalize on a famous brand that used to represent quality luxury buildings and now just stands for hoaxes and clownish pronouncements.
I wonder if his version of the Bible is replete with photos of Stormy Daniels, or his cousin, or the woman he libeled regarding her rape, or the DA from New York who found he lied about the size of his building values. Does it have a special page dedicated to the January 6 insurrectionist “hostages”? Is there a chapter for all of his very accurate declarations about Covid being a hoax, that racists are fine people, or his very fine real estate listings? Is there a transcript of his perfect call to the GA election official to merely find enough votes to fix the results?
Folks, enough is enough. To bring back Trump, a vengeful, incompetent, and unhinged man to the biggest office is like playing with fire. Just ask him, as he uses his newly minted Bible to be sworn into upcoming criminal court cases.
