Interview With Author Elizabeth Dawn Grundin

1. What inspired you to write this book? Life inspires me to write. I am inspired by most anything in life. Most of the time I am listening to music when inspiration hits me.

2. What exactly is it about and who is it written for? It is a poetry/Prose book. I wrote for any who might need to hear it and know that they are not alone.

3. What do you hope readers will get out of reading your book? Inspiration, hope, joy and soul fulfillment.

4. How did you decide on your book’s title and cover design? I felt like the writing in this book was like me Confessing to the Moon.

5. What advice or words of wisdom do you have for fellow writers – other than run!? My advice is to stay the course, it is worth it.

6. What trends in the book world do you see -- and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading? I see the indie world of publishing becoming more relevant, and I see it becoming more of the go to for publishing.

7. Were there experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this book? Not exactly, my first book was self-published and that is the only experience I had going into the second book.

8. How would you describe your writing style? Which writers or books is your writing similar to? To be honest I have not yet thought about my writing style, and have not found a writer yet that I am similar to.

9. What challenges did you overcome in the writing of this book? The knowing that I wanted to go with a publisher this go around instead of self-publishing.

10. If people can buy or read one book this week or month, why should it be yours? My book will make you think, and might touch your soul. The world needs more of that.
