Interview with Author J.A.Thinky

1.      What inspired you to write this book?
I dreamed of a world where I would live in a school with great world celebrities. I wanted a place where science and magic could combine, where my imagination would be free to develop, and of course the biggest inspiration for my book was an enduring friendship that overcomes each other. the tests of time.

2. What exactly is it about and who is it written for?
To be precise, the book is about the journey of a boy searching for his parents, through which he can find companions to help him. This story was written for me as a child who is always looking for mysterious new things. And it is also for readers who want to find and discover interesting things.

3. What do you hope readers will get out of reading your book?
I hope readers will find a lot of useful knowledge inside a fantasy story. My book is about music, classical composers; Scientific luminaries, they taught at an academy called Oldbenfors. Not only that, readers can discover the brave strength of the main character when they experience the battle with magic and witches. I believe readers will find endless inspiration when reading this book.

4. How did you decide on your book’s title and cover design?
My book is a series of 7 volumes. Each booklet is associated with a world-famous wonder or event. I want to explore these details. And my book cover was designed based on these details. In the first book, I chose the main character to be the boy holding the shining Ankh key standing on the ancient stone field of Stonehenge. I really like this symbolic image.

5. What advice or words of wisdom do you have for fellow writers – other than run!?
I think my biggest advice for fellow writers is to write, edit, write, then edit. And the important thing is to constantly pursue your dream of publishing until it comes true.

6. What trends in the book world do you see -- and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading?
I see that the biggest and strongest trend in the book world is still the fantasy children's genre. In today's developed Internet world, all electronic books will be the greatest convenience for readers. I think the publishing industry is targeting topics for young people because this is the largest and most potential customer base.

7. Were there experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this book?
I am a dreamer and always wish to explore the world. As a child, I always wished to set foot in new lands and my restless imagination was the inspiration for me to write this book.

8. How would you describe your writing style? Which writers or books is your writing similar to?
My writing style is like a fairy tale in modern times, between ancient things appearing in the middle of reality, making my book special among books of the same genre.
My book was particularly influenced by J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter.

9. What challenges did you overcome in the writing of this book?
I am Vietnamese and it was very difficult for me to bring my book to the world's readers. I have been trying to find a translator for my book. I had to work very hard to find collaborative editors until I received an invitation from Olympia Publishers in London.

10. If people can buy or read one book this week or month, why should it be yours?
It's been a long time since there's been a new Harry Potter. I think my book can become a fantasy story that opens a new era for old Harry Potter fans.
My story inherits the greatness of The Lord of the Rings and Narnia and it will bring a new breath of surprise to readers.
