Book Marketing Made Simple

To market a book, one should make a comprehensive plan that could include many or all of these areas:

·         Publicity and media coverage.
·         Social media.
·         Speaking and appearances.
·         Direct marketing – mailers, telemarketing,  and email blasts.
·         Advertising.
·         Networking

You will simply need to:

·         Identify your marketplace and targeted reader.
·         Figure out how to reach them.
·         Set goals (short/long-term; reachable/lofty)
·         Set a timeline to take the steps needed to reach goals.
·         Create a mission and vision statement.
·         Line up funds to invest in your marketing.
·         Hire experts to help you in select areas.
