Authors Should Tie Into Honorary Literary Days To Market Their Books

  


One of the best ways to promote your book is to tie your news media pitch, blog, podcast, or social media post to something timely or relevant. It could be a recent news poll, corporate survey, non-profit study, government report, or news event that you tap into. Maybe you can tap into a holiday, like Mother’s Day, that has relevance to your book. Or to a key time of year (like summer for a travel guide, or the holiday season for a gifty coffee table book or January for a health/business/motivational book).  

Another way to connect your book to things that may get attention are honorary book/writing/literacy days. Here are some to be aware of:
