Interview With Author Kenneth Francis Kobularcik

 


 

 

1. What inspired you to write this book? I was inspired by the time spent reading books and going on walks with my granddaughters.

 

2. What exactly is it about and who is it written for?  The book is about spending quality time together with my granddaughters discussing all the members of their family they love.  It is written for my granddaughters and all children and family members who take the time to share special moments together.

 

3. What do you hope readers will get out of reading your book?  My hope is that this book will bring joy to the children, parents, grandparents and great grandparents who take the time to read it.

 

4. How did you decide on your book’s title and cover design? The title of this book and cover design was to depict the many walks together with my granddaughters and our discussions about family.

 

5. What advice or words of wisdom do you have for fellow writers – other than run!?  It is important to focus on what you truly believe and share it with others.

 

6. What trends in the book world do you see -- and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading?  Trends include a variety of topics to write about that will make readers feel comfortable and informed.  The publishing industry is growing with help of the many new accessible means for reading books.

 

7. Were there experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this book?  Spending time after retirement visiting with family, particularly my granddaughters, was the greatest experience.

 

8. How would you describe your writing style? Which writers or books is your writing similar to?  My writing style is simple, easy reading for children, allowing communication and discussion by family members.  All the authors in my collection of books “Great Books Of The Western World”.

 

9. What challenges did you overcome in the writing of this book?  It was difficult telling a story that is easy to read and allows the reader to picture how everything being said can apply to their own situation in life.

 

10. If people can buy or read one book this week or month, why should it be yours?  This book should be the one people read because it will bring them joy and a better understanding of the importance of family.

 

About The Author: After spending more than forty years as a sales executive for a major insurance company, I was inspired by my two beautiful granddaughters, Addison and Ella, to  embark on a new career of writing stories about the special moments shared with them.  Our times reading books and talking together on walks will forever be cherished.  My hope is that the stories will bring joy to the children, parents, grandparents and great grandparents who take the time to read them.
