Interview With Author Tad Wojnicki

What type of books do you write? I write love/adventure novels and how-to books for writers. My first published novel was, "Lie Under the Fig Trees". I have also written two how-to books for writers titled, "Write Like a Lover! and "Sixty Jumps to Skinny Writing."

What is your newest book about? My newest book is a thriller about an American journalist getting landlocked with an islander woman during a cataclysmic typhoon.

What inspired you to write it? A new class of people has appeared worldwide -- the professional expat. This class of people has a great romantic, trend-setting potential, which Hollywood should cash in on shortly.

What is the writing process like for you? I'm sorry, but I consider this question trivial.

What did you do before you became an author? Holocaust survivor, scholar, defector, international speaker, crab catcher, fruit-picker, university professor.

How does it feel to be a published author?  Something is lacking. There's more to getting published than meets the eye.

Any advice for struggling writers? Get a life! I could elaborate on this topic forever
