How Do You Get
More Sales?
·
Overcome
objectives and misperceptions.
·
Lower
the risks and increase the benefits of buying from you.
·
Talk
only to the decision-maker.
·
Convince
them no one sells it cheaper or if someone does, convince them your book or
service is better and not comparable to others.
·
Don’t
let some negative experience with others stand between you and the client.
·
Show
a differentiation between you and another’s product, book or service -- give
them an incentive to switch.
·
Touch
a nerve with the customer -- address what keeps them up at night, what causes
them to worry, and what is on their mind.
·
Engage
the customer and ask questions.
·
Share
your ideology or values as it relates to what you are selling.
·
Communicate
with enthusiasm.
To Sell At A High
Success Rate…
·
Create
goals and write them down.
·
Have
a plan to achieve these goals.
·
Remain
committed to achieving these goals.
·
Review
your goals and make sure they are achievable.
To set goals, be specific. Identify exactly the outcome that
you seek. Set a time limit and a timeline to achieve it. Identify the resources
you have to reach your goals and recognize the obstacles and challenges you
need to overcome. Remind yourself of the rewards of reaching your goals. Take
small action steps to achieve bigger goals. Self-examine your skill set – where
do you need improvement in order to achieve your goals?
You Need To Ask
For The Sale
·
Ask
people to buy from you and to buy now. If not, why not? If not now, then when?
·
What
will it take to get a commitment from them?
·
Is
there more than one reason they won’t buy from you?
·
Can
you address the areas you fall short in?
·
Up
your best offer and ask if that is what will make them do a deal.
·
If
all else fails, ask if you can revisit them in the near future to try a new
deal.
Are you ready to sell some books -- or what?
