How Can Authors Locate More Retailers To Sell Their Books?

The Corner Bookstore

Where should you sell your book? Wherever people are!

So where is that? We know about amazon and Barnes & Noble and local indies. Where else?

There are many online bookstore retailers that can sell your books, whether physical, digital, or audio. Book distribution is the No. 1 priority for published authors. If people can’t get your book, you are screwed. Priority No. 2 is book marketing, of course.

Authors can sell a book anywhere – from their website to big box stores and all places in between, from a local bodega to a church bookstore to a PTA school sale. Where are you selling your book right now? Can you expand on your distribution?

Please consult the links below to locate other online retailers to help you sell your book:

Of course, once you expand the places one can buy your book, you have created more opportunities for yourself to generate sales. But sitting on a store shelf or being listed on a site by itself won’t get many sales to take place. That comes with your marketing and PR efforts. So make sure your book is available for purchase in more places – and then invest your time and resources into marketing your brand. Good luck.
