Interview With Author Lori Crabb

1.      What inspired you to write this book?

When I needed travel for either business or pleasure, I always worried if my fur creatures were going to be okay while staying at the Kennels.

2.      What exactly is it about and who is it written for?

It is written for children. It is about a small Maltese dog named Betsy

3.      What do you hope readers will get out of reading your book?

Peace of mind that what we conceive as something bad – may not be bad at all and actually fun.

4.      How did you decide on your book’s title and cover design?

The book is centered around fur creatures going to kennels or Dog Camp while their human families are gone.

5.      What advice or words of wisdom do you have for fellow writers – other than run!?

Just go for it

6.      What trends in the book world do you see -- and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading?

I have no idea.

7.      Were there experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this book?

I grew up on an Iowa farm – and with that had a great amount of respect for all creatures

8.      How would you describe your writing style? Which writers or books is your writing similar to?

 I have no idea.

9.      What challenges did you overcome in the writing of this book?

 Proof reading and punctuation

10.  If people can buy or read one book this week or month, why should it be yours?

If they have children or pets it is a darling book
