Authors always ask me: What sells books?

My answer comes down to two words: Take action.

Keep moving and doing. Try new things and new ways of doing them. Sitting back and merely wishing, endlessly analyzing, and chronic whining won’t help.

“But what exactly should I do?” is always the follow-up question.

Do what you are good at. Hire people to handle what you can’t or won’t do. See what yields results — and keep doing more of it.
