Authors Can Think and Act Big!

Image result for thinking image

Authors, like most others, need to think big and more importantly, act big.  But we know that something always stops them from executing a big idea.

Often, the big idea is too overwhelming for them to act on.  Plus there will be time constraints, fears, and other factors that limit them.  Suddenly, the big idea has dwindled down to a trivial afterthought.

Well that shit has to stop now!

I was skimming through Bud Carter’s book, Thinking Big: Quotes, Notes and Inspiration to Spark Business Success.  Here are some thoughts from other influential voices.  Perhaps they will motivate you to think and act big.

“If you choose not to decide, you have still made a choice.”
--Rush singer Geddy Lee

“The way we see the problem is the problem.”
“Best-selling author Stephen R. Covey”

“If you have everything under control, you’re not going fast enough.”
-Indy 500 Champion Race Car Drive Mario Andretti

“If there’s no such thing as risk of loss, there’s no potential for gain.”
--Wells Real Estate Funds Chairman, Leo Wells

“One must, from time to time, attempt things that are beyond one’s capacity.”
-Artist Renoir

“You must have long-range goals to keep from being frustrated by short-term failures.”
--Author Charles Noble

“Everyone has a plan – until he gets hit.”
--Heavyweight Boxing Champion Mike Tyson

“When you do things you have to do when you don’t want to do them, the day will come when you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.”
--Motivational Speaker and Best-selling Author Zig Ziglar

“If you fall on your face, at least you’re moving forward.”
--Virgin Group Founder Richard Branson

“Orville Wright didn’t have a pilot’s license.”
