Is This The Best Time To Publish A Book?

We live in a great time for authors.

Anyone can write a book. Millions will attempt to do so this year.

Anyone can get a book published. Over 4,000 new books are published daily, with about 75 percent being self-published.

Anyone can market a book or hire someone to do so. Many don’t — but should.

Opportunity is readily available to the writer who wants to get published and marketed. Authors should commit to dedicating their time and resources to writing and marketing their books this year.

A book can serve so many purposes:

* Raises one’s profile and enhances their brand.

* Influences society and impacts hearts and minds.

* Helps to sell your services/products/books.

* Acts as a tool for getting news media exposure.

* Can be an excuse to secure social media attention.

* Boosts your credentials to raise your fees, secure more speaking gigs, or earn consulting gigs.

* Helps you get a raise and/or promotion at work, or hired for a better job.

* Sells rights.

* Leads to more books or content-for-sale opportunities.

* Serves as a fundraising tool.

Authors have a lot to gain by seizing their moment, at this moment in time.

We live in a wild time of all types of opportunity.

Anyone who wants a job, can have one.

Looking to start a business? One can get a loan or do a gofundme.

If u want a vax or booster to fend off death, it is available.

If you have nothing, the govt gives you everything.

If you are illegal, you can vote.

If you are crazy or racist or dumb, you can still buy as many guns and ammo as you want.

Everything is legal, from pot to sex, gambling to boozing.

If you want to buy nothing, like crypto, you can become rich.

If you want to hawk products for a fee because you botoxed your ass for instagram, you can be a somebody for being a nobody.

If you want to start a charity, just fill out some paperwork.

Want to start a religion? Just declare it and it is so.

Want to kill someone and get away with it? Just be a celebrity (ask Alec Baldwin). Want to be a rapper who toys with safety protocols for concert patrons just to make more money? Just ask Travis Scott.

If you want to buy a car or household item, oops, but otherwise it is simultaneously a paradise for capitalists, commies, crazies. and crooks. And authors!
