1. What inspired you to write this book?
My best friend went through 20 years of an abusive marriage, and she discussed everything that happened to her during that time.
2. What exactly is it about, and who is it written for?
A possessive boy who finds a girl he wants as his and will do anything to have exactly what he wants.
3. What do you hope readers will get out of reading your book?
I am hoping that women that might be in a situation like this will see the signs of an abusive relationship before it is too late for them to get out of it.
4. How did you decide on your book’s title and cover design?
The name of the book just came to me, and the cover design was done by a friend off another site that it was on before going to be published. They changed the background but used the man I had as my cover photo.
5. What advice or words of wisdom do you have for fellow writers – other than run!?
Follow your dreams, and don't be afraid to reach for goals, even if it takes years to achieve them.
6. What trends in the book world do you see -- and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading?
I see different trends as I tend to read all kinds of genres. The book publishing world is going in all different directions depending on what types of books you like.
7. Were there experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this book?
I have had friends that were in situations like the ones portrayed in my book and wanted to write about it hoping to help women see signs of what an abusive relationship might consist of.
8. How would you describe your writing style?
Which writers or books is your writing
similar to?
I don't know what type of style I have, I love paranormal and Mafia books.
9. What challenges did you overcome in the writing of this book?
The challenges I overcame was trying to take bits and pieces of abuse that I have heard from others and making it come to life in my book.
10. If people can buy or read one book this week or month, why should it be yours?
I would love for people who need that little push to have the courage of leaving the awful situation they are in, this book would give them that insight where they could get out of it before something bad happens that they might not be able to survive.
About The Author: I am a middle-aged lady that has just found
her passion for writing books for fun after playing around with books on
another app for over a year, where I got a lot of positive feedback about my
creativity and imaginative writing. Now I am hoping to expand that into a wider
area where maybe I can start writing for a living. I enjoy writing different
types of books, romance, paranormal, fiction, non-fiction, and Mafia books. I
take books that I have here at the house that has been published, movies, and
even TV series, then make my own creations of my books based on those ideas and
creations from other authors or directors of the TV and movies
