1.      What inspired you to write this book? Inspiration of the  book came from working  as a teacher of the Diana Cooper foundation (now the Diana Cooper school of white light).its teachings focus on the elemental and Angel world, connecting with nature and learning about sacred geometry of the enviroment. All mankind has a responsibility for protecting the planet but the younger generation are rising and want their voices heard and taken seriously in the fight for their future against pollution, global warming and deforestation. On writing this book I hope it touches with the younger generation who are our future and want to save this world.

2.      What Exactly is it about and who is it written for? The book the crystal keys of Sidhe takes young adults/ adults readers on a journey into the unseen world of nature, with its story of fairies Cosmos and Calluna. Entrusted with the mission to obtain the eight most powerful crystals and offer them to mother Giaa in order to save the planet, will this duo overcome the challenges and danger that their quest presents?

3.      What do  you hope readers will get out of reading your book? Hopefully it will give the readers how the magic of the natural world, is all connected and makes this planet work and thrive. The hidden mystical energies of nature having to plays its own personal role in maintaining its beauty and all aspects of life within it. Interference by man destroys natures alchemy and balance that in return poses a threat to where one lives and its environment.

4.      How did you decide on your books title and cover design? The title was to represent the eight crystals and the name Sidhe is the Irish folklore name for where elementals live. The cover comes from sacred geometry. Everything has a sacred geometry design. An artist friend who draws mandalas was able to incorporated all eight crystals into one Mandela.

5.      What advice or words of wisdom do you have for fellow writers- other than run? The  advice I would give would be to purchase the writers artists yearbook by Joanne Harris. The book gives lists of publishers and literary agents. To read it thoroughly as it   Has good advice and points to give to the writer. Another piece of advice would be to join a local writers group near to where you live, giving the opportunity to meet other fellow novelists and authors where you can discuss problems of your script and get support which will help to keep you motivated.

6.      What trends in the book world do you see, and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading? After two years of covid it gave many the opportunity to sit down and start writing. even celebrities got to take to the pen bringing publishers purchasing more famous authored novels. Books on Conflicts like war helps readers understand the combat more this brings readers out into raising money and other accessories needed. History Is being written from different modern angles and perspectives which is good to see. Self-help books are always in demand as different periods in time produce more modern readings.  Personally, I see the publishing industry getting busier as people love to buy and read books of all genres.

7.      Were there experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this book? Personal spiritual growth over the years with the knowledge gained definitely was a positive source of information that came in handy for writing my book. Spiritual experiences from visiting divine sites, meditation gave messages, signs and guidance that provided other information to use.

The Crystal Keys of Sidhe is written in a narrative an descriptive style, using the two made it easier to write my first book. I have read many fantasy books but the nearest book similar to mine about nature was the Avatar book by James Cameron.

The challenges were on research finding out the spiritual symbolism On the characters, earth spirits, mystical animals and items in the book.  The support from my writers group greatly gave information, and insight which kept me on track to finishing my first novel.

10.  If people can by or read one book this week or month why should it be yours?
