Interview With Author Donna Marie Good

1. What inspired you to write this book?

I wanted to help others avoid mistakes I made in my life because of my abusive past.

2. What exactly is it about and who is it written for?

This book is a personal testimony of how God helped me to heal. It is written for anyone who needs hope and healing in their lives.

3.What do you hope readers will get out of reading your book?

My desire is for others to personally experience God's healing power and grace.

4.How did you decide on your book's title and cover design?

Life is a journey which we all must take and we only get one chance to make the most of that lifetime. We all make a choice as to which road we will travel on our journey. One road leads to worldliness and hell and the other to heaven and eternal life.

5. What advice or words of wisdom do you have for fellow writers - other than run?

I would say be true to who you are and determined about what you want to accomplish.

6. What trends in the book world do you see -- and where do you think the book publishing industry is heading?

I am hopeful that more religious books would be published but I see it following whatever is popular at the moment.

7. Were there experiences in your personal life or career that came in handy when writing this book?

Yes. My experiences and how God helped me through the trials of my life are at the heart of this book.

8.How would you describe your writing style? Which writers or books is your writing similar to?

I'm not sure what style I have but I would say it is inspired by God and his desire to bring healing and salvation to all. My writing would be similar to Joyce Meyer.

9. What challenges did you overcome in the writing of this book?

Anytime you try to overcome or change the negativity you have learned in the past you will meet resistance. There were personal experiences I hesitated to share but through God's guidance and strength I was able to finish this book and publish it.

10. If people can buy or read one book this week or month, why should it be yours?

Reading " The Journey of a Lifetime" Finding God's Healing Pathway will change their lives if they answer God's calling. For more info, see: https://www.christianfaithpublishing.com/books/?book=the-journey-of-a-lifetime.

About The Author;  The Lord has been a guiding light for me throughout the fifty years I have walked with him. As I continue to heal from an abusive past, I have had the opportunity to share my experiences and testimony with many people to help them and give them hope.
